Laya Healthcare: Title sponsor of Laya Healthcare's City Spectacular

Laya Healthcare has announced a three-year sponsorship deal of Ireland’s largest summer festival – Laya Healthcare’s City Spectacular. Laya Healthcare has been the title sponsor since 2012 and will continue to be until 2018.

In 2015 approximately 250,000 people attended the festival which takes place in Dublin and Cork each year which had an economic impact of approximately €62 million across both locations. The festival is the second largest family festival in Ireland – the largest being the St Patrick’s Day festival. “We are delighted to announce our three-year sponsorship of Laya Healthcare’s City Spectacular,” said Donal Clancy, Managing Director with Laya Healthcare. “Each year the festival has grown and developed and we look forward to having the best festival yet in 2016.” “We are delighted with the continued sponsorship and support from Laya Healthcare,” said Shell Holden, director of the festival. “Laya Healthcare's partnership with Laya Healthcare’s City Spectacular and its commitment to the culture and joy of the festival has positioned it as one of Ireland's must-attend, much-loved events, attracting approximately 250,000 visitors every year.” Founded in 2005 as a street performance festival Laya Healthcare’s City Spectacular not only continues to attract some of the world’s most famous street performers it now offers music, the arts, food and entertainment as well as health and wellbeing areas. This year for the first time it will also host a pet welfare area and is inviting visitors to bring along their four-legged friends for free check-ups.
